Video Tour

In late 2022, the Membership team invited our departing minister, Rev Paul Beedle, to narrate a video History Tour of our interesting, modified gothic-style building and its many symbolic artifacts and gifts as a parting gift to us that could be shared for many years to come. Rev. Paul began with reviewing our long history of the emergence of Unitarian Universalism and the founding of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans dating back to 1833 that was lovingly documented on the upper walls of the Parlor by FUUNO member and artist, Leslie Runnels. From there, he led a group of us around the interior of the building, pointing out numerous items of significance and their backgrounds, and concluded with an explanation of the Memorial Garden and Memorial Tree we constructed in our Courtyard. The video is just over 26 minutes long. We hope you enjoy it as much as those of us who were able to attend in person. We thank most especially, Rev. Paul; Lauren Levy, our videographer; and the members who paid for the video to be made – Jodie Manale, Kathy Hubbell, and Christiane Geisler.
